Career development takes effort, long term focus, and knowledge about career tools for exploring job or college options. In order to choose a well-matched career you need to actively explore and know your "self"--values, beliefs, and interests. You need efficient creative and critical thinking to succeed in this economy. It is important to learn how to bring out your strengths and invest in your limitations through training and experience.
We offer career counseling using whole person perspective--life history, health and academic information, and self knowledge. This process may include career testing and/or homework exercises devoted to self knowledge (values, strengths, limits), communication skills (listening, assertiveness), self esteem, creative and critical thinking skills, and problem-solving workplace communication issues. We also offer skill development support in career-related areas such as resume development, job interview skill development using role play and videotaping, job search skill development--review of job search tools, networking skills and informational interviews.
We connect work and life with your passion!
